# Deploy with the CLI

Source: https://docs.myhub.host/quick-start

You need Node.js 22.12 or newer.

## Install and sign in

```sh
npm install --global @hubhq/cli@latest
hub login
```

Approve sign-in in your browser.

## Deploy your project

In your project folder, run:

```sh
hub deploy
```

Hub builds your local files and prints the app's URL. Open it to see your app. Sign in with your Hub account: new apps are accessible to your organization.

Run `hub deploy` again to publish your changes.

For pushed GitHub code, use `hub deploy --git owner/repository`. Public repositories clone anonymously; private repositories require a GitHub read grant. New sources deploy once. Add `--watch` for automatic deployments on push, which requires a GitHub webhook grant even for public repositories. Omitting the watch option keeps the setting for the same repository; a replacement repository defaults to off. See [Deploy from GitHub](https://docs.myhub.host/deploy/github).
