# Teams and roles

## Invite a teammate

Open **Settings → Team** in [Cloud Dashboard](https://cloud.myhub.host/dashboard/settings/team). Enter their email, choose a role, and create the invitation.

Send them the returned link. Hub does not email it. They sign in with that address to join. Organization invitations work once and expire after seven days.

## Choose a role

Roles apply across your organization.

| Role   | Can do                                                              |
| ------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Viewer | Open organization apps, read logs and Workspace pages, and comment. |
| Member | Also deploy, configure, operate, and delete apps; edit pages.       |
| Admin  | Also change app access and manage members and viewers.              |
| Owner  | Also manage admins and transfer ownership.                          |

Choose **Member** for someone who deploys apps, or **Viewer** for someone who only uses them. Admins can invite members and viewers; only the organization owner can invite admins.

## Change or remove access

Select the person in **Team** to change their role or remove them. Revoke unused invitations there too. The organization owner must transfer ownership before leaving.
