# Hub Workspace

Workspace is Hub's free, open-source app for shared pages and embedded tools. Cloud Dashboard manages your deployments; Workspace is optional.

## Set up Workspace

1. Open [Deploy Workspace](https://cloud.myhub.host/apps/workspace).
2. Sign in and choose your organization.
3. Select **Deploy in one click**, or **Open Workspace** if it is already installed.

Your Workspace opens at `https://<org>.myhub.host`. Hosting uses your organization's resources.

## Create a team page

Create a page from the sidebar. Write your content, or type `/` to insert headings, lists, tables, or images.

Nest pages to organize them. Use `Ctrl K` (`⌘ K` on Mac) to search. Renaming or moving a page keeps its link.

## Add a live app

Insert an app block and select a deployed app. Resize the block or open it as a full-screen page. The app's [access rules](https://docs.myhub.host/access) still apply.

## Work with your team

Invite teammates through Cloud Dashboard's **Settings → Team**. Members can edit pages; viewers can read and comment.

Everyone with Workspace access can read every page. Pages do not have separate permissions. Use an [app invitation](https://docs.myhub.host/access#invite-someone-to-one-app) to share just an app with a client.

## Keep a copy

Export a page or the whole tree as Markdown. App blocks export as links, without app data. Deleted pages stay in trash for 30 days; pages have no version history.
